Supported Platforms

The current release of Virtualwind supports Windows XP, both 32-bit and 64-bit editions. On 64-bit Windows, Virtualwind will run as a 32-bit application. Virtualwind also runs on Macs with Windows emulation, although this configuration has not been rigorously tested. 

Recommended System Parameters 

Virtualwind is both a graphics and processor-intensive simulation package.  Typical simulations can be expected to run for periods ranging from hours to days; increased computer processing speed will result in shorter simulation times and greater productivity.  The Virtualwind Pro Version has been highly optimized to achieve peak performance on systems with multi-core processors (you can choose the number of CPUs to run your simulation). The minimum and recommended systems for the Stantdard Version, and the recommended system for the Pro Verison are provided below:
